The rapid growth in fossil fuels has resulted climate change that needs to be controlled the near future. Several methods have been proposed control change, including development of efficient energy conversion devices. Fuel cells are environmentally friendly devices can fuelled by green hydrogen, with only water as a by-product, or using different biofuels such biomass wastewater, urea biogas from municipal and agricultural wastes, syngas agriculture waste carbon. This editorial discusses fundamentals operation fuel cell, their application various sectors residential, transportation, power generation.
